Stacking the Shelves & Sunday Post (57)

Wow January just flew by!  I'm looking forward to the weather warming up a little this month.  I've decided to stay on my cleanse for another month.  I'm feeling better, have more energy, losing weight, and my complexion is improving.  Everyone around me is sick, and normally this time of year I have a terrible case of the flu, but I'm doing really well, and I think it's due to what I'm eating, and not eating.

I read nine books in January.  I'd love to be able to read more, but have my hands full with my daughter, so my reading time is limited.  I purchased, and didn't review Complicated Hearts 1 & 2 for Romanceopoly.  This duet was just okay, and they both were solid three star reads.  I was really lucky, because the majority of my reads were excellent this month.  I'm still working on my new planner, and having a lot of fun with it!

  1. I loved the Shalvis book. That series has really grown on me since the first book with most of them getting 4 - 4.5 stars from me. I hope you enjoy all your books this month.

  2. Looks like you have your hands full Lindy. Good luck with the cleanse I'm so glad you're having such great results and if something can keep the flu from my door I'm all on it. The last time I got it I wished I would die I could barely crawl to the bathroom

  3. that's great that you are doing so well. i had the flu a couple of years ago and i just got back most of the weight i lost. it was very scary and i too thought i was going to die. i try to avoid crowds during flu season and being retired i am not forced to be around sick people

    1. Yeah, the flu is scary. My whole family has been sick with it, and not able to shake it. You always hear about people getting so sick that they need to be hospitalized, or even people dying from it from the news. Stay healthy Sherry, and I'm glad you're taking precautions.
