My Thoughts:
I have enjoyed every moment of the Rydeville High Elite Series! It's been such a wild ride, and every time the next installment lands on my kindle, I don't put it down until the story is complete! I usually try to read review books in the order that they are due, but when Sweet Retribution landed on my Kindle, I dropped everything else, and this story did not disappoint!Sweet Retribution delivered a fast-paced story filled with twists, passion, deceit, revenge, and the type of anticipation that leaves you plastered to a book. I smiled, cringed, bit my nails, sighed, and closed my kindle with the deepest sense of satisfaction.
We got introduced to more villainous secondary characters, and some older villains got what they deserved, while others were left with an open ended conclusion. Something I've really enjoyed about this series is that a lot of the characters are not purely good or evil. We see glimpses of good in darker characters, and glimpses of dark in characters that are suppose to be the good guys. This makes for a much more interesting story with three dimensional characters!
Sweet Retribution ended Abby and Kai's story ARC, and I can't tell you how excited I was to learn that secondary characters, and Kai's best friends, Jackson and Sawyer will be getting their own stories, as well as Abby's quasi friend, Charlie! I'm hoping Drew, Abby's twin brother gets his own story as well.
