These last two weeks my husband and I started a raw fruit and veggie cleanse. We did it last year for the month of September and are going to strive to do it for this entire month. My daughter's been under the weather all of this week, so I haven't had much time to myself or much time for reading and blogging.
Last Two Weeks on the Blog:
*Handle with Care (Shacking Up #5) by Helena Hunting (Book Review)
*Sapphire Flames (Hidden Legacy #4) by Ilona Andrews (Book Review)
*Holding on to Forever by Siobhan Davis & S.B. Alexander (WOW)
*Sweet Talker by Robin Bielman (Release Day Blast & Giveaway)
*Jock Road by Sara Ney (Release Day Review)

I am sorry to hear your daughter is ill. I hope she is feeling better soon. Good luck with the cleanse!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your new books! The Sound of Stars caught my attention too. And Fake Date looks cute. I'll have to look for that one when it comes out.
I hope you have a great weekend, Lindy!
Those cleanses can be a push to do, but so worth it when you feel your energy return afterward. Cheering you both on!
ReplyDeleteHope your daughter is feeling better now. Easy to get a bug at the beginning of the school year.
You read some good ones.
Have a good week, Lindy!
Thanks Sophia! I've been really lucky in reading really good books lately. Hopefully the trend continues. *crosses fingers*
DeleteGood luck with the cleanse! I should try that... I eat a lot of veggies but I'm terrible w/ fruit. *sigh* lol
ReplyDeleteThe opposite of Falling Aprt looks good.
Thanks Greg! Yeah, It's definitely making me eat healthier and get a ton of fruit and veggies in.
DeleteSorry your daughter is still unwell. Poor thing. Wow! Good luck with the cleanse. I have never done such a thing as I have zero discipline.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam! It's challenging for sure!
DeleteRaw fruits and veggie cleanse. I remember I went on juice cleanse. Very rewarding and I believe I had tons of energy and found myself eating salads at restaurants instead of my typical junk food. It's all encompassing.
ReplyDeleteYes, I feel a lot better about not eating the usual junk. I'm feeling pretty good, but it is a challenge not having my Starbucks or eating any fast-food.
DeleteWow a veggie and fruit cleanse. I had a cleanse this past week from prepping for a colonoscopy. I sadly have a cold this week too so I feel that. Looks like I've had some amazing books this week!

DeleteFake Date has the most adorable cover. Cant wait to see your thoughts on that one!
ReplyDeleteI love the cover too! Thanks Teresa :)
Deletesending good vibes to complete the cleanse Lindy, My hubby would only do a cleanse if it involved steak and potatoes LOL
ReplyDeleteThe Sound of Stars cover is making me look at the blurb :)
Thanks Debbie! Yeah my hubby is struggling and kind of doing an abbreviated version! I'm really excited to read The Sound of Stars!
DeleteGood luck with your cleanse and I hope your daughter feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ali :)
DeleteI also considered The Sound of Stars. The cover is so gorgeous that its really hard to resist. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have much time to blog or read this week. I hope next week your daughter is feeling better. ❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks Dani :)
