This week went by really fast. We saw a travel agent at the beginning of the week to book a couple of our upcoming summer vacations. That was a lot of fun, and I'm really looking forward to getting away, relaxing, sight-seeing, and having some new experiences!
My daughter has still been under the weather. As a result, she's been whiny and struggling at school. Her cold and cough continue to linger, and I'm hoping she'll get better in time for our first vacation. The weather heated up a bit, so I took her to the park a couple of times, and she really enjoyed it.
I had my 40th birthday on Friday. I can't believe how slow time seems to go when you're younger, but then it just seems to fly by once you hit your mid twenties!

ReplyDeleteI am jealous that you got the new CLo book, but also jealous that you are booking a couple of vacations. Goals. I only get to go on one vacation each year, and my daughter wants us to skip next year and go to China in 2021. I hope all your vacations are amazing.

Happy belated birthday! I hope your daughter is feeling much better now. Yay for vacation planning! We are able to take a week this summer and get away. I can't wait. I am so desperate for a break. I am eager to read Ayesha At Last. I hope it's good! Have a wonderful week.
