This week felt especially long, and I was exhausted. The weather changed--again, and it was freezing cold! I was excited when Sherry@ Fundinmental notified me that I had won her giveaway! My husband bought me gift cards to Amazon & Barnes and Noble for Easter, so I got to have fun picking out some books and bookish items! My 40th Birthday's coming up, so we've been trying to decide where to go for a mini vacation. My daughter has been struggling at school, because she has a new paraeducator, and was really attached to her old one. However, by the end of the week, she seemed to be doing a bit better. This week was also filled with the usual ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy appointments for my daughter, but on top of that, we had to take her to doctor appointments and do various testing. It was such a busy week!

Good to hear someone's winning something! Congrats! I have some amazon cards which I hope to buy a few books from some independent authors that I've either critiqued work in the past or know their work from their blog.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on winning! I hope that your daughter is adjusting better at school. I love the covers on all of your books and hope that you will enjoy all of them. HAve a wonderful week:)
ReplyDeleteHappy early Birthday!! I wish we would get a cool day here - it's been in the 80's already! But we have storms, so I guess that helps. :) I hope your daughter continues to adjust at school :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, it sounds like you've been very busy this year. I hope you pick a good and fun place for your B-day mini vacation. I also got Eli's Triumph this week. I did a little happy dance when that one appeared on my kindle. I hope everything with you daughter gets better!

ReplyDeleteIt’s cold enough here, I’ve had to put slippers on! Have fun choosing somewhere warm for a vacation.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week
Glad to hear your daughter is settling into her change in educator. I'm sure it's tough.
ReplyDeleteI don't read much YA anymore but I want to read Hope and Other Punch Lines. Hope we both love it! :)
Yes, that is a busy week. Glad your daughter is making the adjustment with her new teacher. It's always harder and takes longer under the circumstances, but sounds like its happening. :)
ReplyDeleteYay for Gift Card money and giveaway win. Fun to figure out how to use it. Quite a fun haul, too. I recognize several authors that I enjoy. Happy reading!
