Surviving Harley, by K. Webster, was such a fun, sexy and quick novella that left me with a huge smile on my face. I discovered K. Webster less than a year ago. She came in like a hurricane and destroyed my feelings in the best kind of way. Her stories always leave me speechless, breathless and her words linger with me for days. I always know that a book by K. Webster means that I will have an unforgettable reading journey.
Surviving Harley is a novella that follows Taylor Cunningham and Harley Harrison. Taylor’s talk show host career needs a boost. The last thing she wanted was to marry a stranger and keep up the charade for 90 days. Her new husband is an enigma she can’t solve. He’s fiercely protective of her and he makes her want more even if that scares her. She married Harley for ratings, but their attraction to each other is undeniable. Will they give their love a chance once the 90 days are over?
I love when my favorite authors write novellas. These novellas are EVERYTHING when I’m in the worst kind of book funk. They put a smile on my face and leave my heart bursting with joy. Taylor and Harley’s chemistry was amazing from beginning to end! Harley was such an amazing husband to Taylor. He made me swoon so bad!!! He’s a giant teddy bear that is fiercely protective and he was ready to overcome anything to make their marriage work.
Taylor was a tough cookie. She did not want to admit what was obvious ... she had strong feelings for her husband. She was scared to give their love a chance. Be prepared to fall in love with Taylor and Harley. They are a fantastic couple and their love story is pretty awesome. I loved how this couple connected on their road trip. Love hit them unexpectedly and it was beautiful to read about their journey together.
