Review:

When I started my reading challenge for 2017, I knew that this was the year that I was going to read as many new authors as possible. Liberty Laine is a new author on the block and let me tell you that their (because this book is written by a fantastic duo) first novella was a hit in my books! It was fun, sexy and entertaining!

I'm not a big fan of insta-love in books. With that being said, Jail House Rock is a novella so I expected the insta-love between the characters. What I liked about this book is that it's the perfect reading escape if you are stuck in a never-ending book hangover or if you are looking for a quick read. Millie and Jake have an entertaining and steamy relationship from the very beginning. 

Millie dreams of a big music career and Jake, which is a Bounty Hunter, dreams of catching Millie and making her his. A case of mistaken identity lands Millie in Jake's hands. Who is she to complain? From the moment they meet their chemistry is undeniable. This novella is packed with heat and humor. I really enjoyed my reading escape with these awesome characters. This dynamic writing duo did a fantastic job with this novella and I'm looking forward to more stories by Liberty Laine.
