I laughed under my breath and banged the back of my head against the wood.
“Praying?”
“Do you always breathe like that when you’re praying?”
“It’s an intense prayer.”
“What are you really doing?”
“I think you might know what I’m really doing, Kendall.”
“Can I come in?”
Still fully erect, I tucked my cock back into my pants as best I could before opening the door.

Looking up at the ceiling, I shook my head. “You have no fucking clue, do you?”
“What do you mean?”

I don’t have that kind of willpower, not with you, not anymore. Even when I kiss you, all I can think about is burying myself inside of you. But you naked in front of me? Too much, Kendall. Playboy Pilot is the first book that I've read by author duo Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. It was an exhilarating, fast- paced, and very sexy romance. I will definitely be reading more books co-authored by this very talented twosome!
This story is about sexy playboy pilot, Captain Carter Clynes, and beautiful and wealthy heiress, Kendall Sparks. Kendall meets Carter in an airport lounge when he is trying to use his charm and well-experienced moves on her. However, Kendall poses more of a challenge than the usual airline stewardesses, that Carter spends time with.
Kendall needs to pick a place to fly to, where she can think, and make a very important life decision. Carter suggests Brazil, and she decides to try out Rio de Janeiro. This is the start of a romance that will take Kendall and Carter jet-setting around the world. Carter teaches Kendall how to take chances and live a life of adventure, instead of being a spectator on the sidelines. Kendall helps Carter to open up about his past, and take a chance on love.
Playboy Pilot delivered on intense sexual chemistry, spicy romance, emotional intimacy, adventure, humor, and fun! We have two characters that grew in leaps and bounds. Kendall started out very unlikeable. She valued wealth more than anything else, and ended up being a character that matured and found her way. Carter went from being the playboy who broke a lot of hearts, to a man in love, ready to stop playing it safe with his heart.

Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward have once again stolen my heart with their new release, Playboy Pilot. These authors are fantastic! I have loved every single one of their books. They always deliver all the feels and they give me that much needed book escape that I look for when it comes to romance. Their characters are always extremely addictive and captivate me from the beginning of the story.
In Playboy Pilot, we follow Kendall and Carter. This book can be read as a standalone and does not belong to any series. Carter is the ultimate playboy. He's a pilot and his charming personality is leaving women all over the world in a state of mush. His heart has been taking a vacation to "no commitment" land. This is all about to change. Kendall is about to rock his world. She’s playing hard to get and Carter is ready for the challenge. Kendall needs an escape. She has big decisions to make. Decisions that could change her entire life. Meeting Carter was not in her plans and the way he makes her feel alive leaves her more confused than ever. Will Kendall give the sexy playboy pilot a chance to steal her heart?
This was such a fun and romantic read! Kendall and Carter are two amazing characters that took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions! From their first meeting, I could feel their intense and sexy connection. I love it when the connection is instant, the chemistry is explosive and the romance slow building. This story played out like a movie. I could picture every scene and I wanted to be a supporting character in their story. I wanted to get on the plane with them and fly to our next destination.
Kendall and Carter completed each other perfectly! They each had their own personal struggles, but together they made things work. It broke my heart to find out what happened to Carter. I loved how much he loved Kendall. It warmed my heart and I was cheering for him to get his girl! Kendall was a heroine who was confident and I loved that even if she fell fast for Carter, she took time for herself. I highly recommend Playboy Pilot. Romance readers all over the world will fall in love with this fantastic couple!
