SummaryFrom New York Times bestselling author J.S. Cooper comes an e-novella prequel to the Swept Away series, best read after Illusion. Bianca is determined to avenge her father’s death, but to do that, she must get in bed with his enemies...
When Bianca’s father died, she was left with nothing but her memories—and a box full of secrets. Had her father really been squeezed out of the company he founded? And could his betrayers have something to do with the death of Bianca’s mother years before?
Bianca will do anything to find out—even pursue the heir to Bradley, Inc. But the road she’s on is a dangerous one, and if David Bradley sees through her charade, it could be deadly…
You Never Know Who's Watching
Charade gives us complete details about Bianca’s state of mind and the friendships she holds dear. There is an in-depth telling of why she decides to pursue the truth behind the death of her mother. The introduction to Bianca delves deeper than what we know about her in Illusion. That is why this is a must read for fans of the series. Talk about attention to detail Cooper hits every key element in this novella making the information dished out enhance the story in every way.
This was a delicious read that I completely devoured. Not only does it explain Bianca in full detail it enhances Illusion because we know what lead Bianca to the present time. On top of it being an amazing companion novella it fueled my desire to get my hands on the next installment. I will be pushing the next way higher on my TBR because I cannot wait to devour it fully. Talk about an exhilarating ending it left me wanting more and I will be thinking about this read until I do get my hands on the next.
My Rating
4.5 I cant wait to see where this story goes and especially what Bianca will do next. Intriguing and exhilarating must read stars!!
