Deliver Review:
When I first saw the cover of Deliver, by Pam Godwin, I was mesmerized by those intense green eyes. I rarely judge a book by its cover, but with Deliver I totally did! I knew from the moment that I would meet Joshua Carter he would catch my attention and never let me go! This story was a wild and intoxicating reading escape! This was my first time reading a book by Pam Godwin. Trust me when I say that it won't be my last! This story captivated me from beginning to end! A real page-turning journey into a dark and twisted world!
I don't read dark romance novels very often. I decided this year with my co-bloggers to give some new genres a try. I have discovered many amazing authors by stepping out of my comfort zone. I am so happy that I gave the Deliver series a try! I have to admit that it's not always easy to read dark romance novels, but I always go into the story knowing that I will go through a wide range of emotions by the time I turn the last page. That is exactly the feeling that I want when I read a book. I not only want to read the story. I want to FEEL it! Oh, boy! Did I ever feel this story! I was an emotional mess for a good portion of the book.
I usually do a little recap of the story at this point of my review, but with Deliver I won't. Liv and Joshua's story is so raw, addictive and phenomenal that I just want everybody to feel the same emotions that I felt while reading their story. You can't go wrong with Deliver! It's AMAZING!!!

I absolutely loved Liv and Joshua! I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about Liv's character. I did not know if I was going to connect with her. But the more I read about her story, the more I connected with her. Joshua was a totally different story! From the moment he entered Liv's world, he had this crazy determination to make Liv feel alive again. He discovered what was hiding under all the layers of pain and humilation. He absolutely took my breath away! Liv's life was hell! Joshua gave her hope and she felt alive next to a man who radiated goodness. Their chemistry was blazing hot and you could feel the sexual tension between them.
Liv and Joshua's story was very hard to read at some points. My stomach was in knots and I had to step away from the story a couple of times because some situations were too overwhelming. My heart was beating faster after every chapter. The more I read, the more the darkness was replaced by a breathtakingly beautiful love story. It was beautiful to see that even in the darkest moments something so beautiful can be born.
Deliver was unique and the twists that the author included were CRAZY good! I had an idea of where the story was heading, but what happened at the end I never expected! It was such an unforgettable reading journey!

Vanquish Review:
Oh.my.crap.
Oh.my.crap.
Vanquish, by Pam Godwin, completely blew my mind! If you have not read the first installment, which is Deliver, I strongly suggest that you read it before reading Vanquish. I have read the Deliver series back-to-back, and Sweet mother of God!!!! This series is wickedly addictive!!!
In Vanquish, Van is determined to achieve his ultimate goal. He wants something really bad and he will do whatever it takes to get it. Amber Rosenbeld has issues. Big issues that turn every single day of her life into a living hell. When Van unexpectedly enters her life, she's scared of how fast he can turn her world upside down. Van has found his match in Amber. With her he wants more.
We first meet Van Quiso, who will steal your heart and melt your panties, in Deliver. I won't go into details about his role in that book, but I will say this ... I totally had a love/hate relationship with his character. He made me go nuts!!! I could not understand some of his actions. When I started reading Vanquish, I knew that all my questions about him were going to be answered. By the end of the book he completely left me in a state of mush! He's such a sexy beast! Oh, and he has a sweet side as well! *Swoon*
I have such a huge book hangover!!! I need another dose of Mr. Sexy Toothpick and Mrs. Knuckle Cracking Goddess! I have a huge smile on my face! This book left me with such a happy heart. Once again this story, just like Deliver, was dark and twisted. It was less dark than Deliver, but I still felt all those knots forming in my stomach. My emotions were all over the place!
Eeeeeep!!! This story was so freakin' good!!!! Van and Amber are two of the most intriguing characters that I have ever read about! I connected with them from the very beginning of this incredible reading escape! Pam Godwin has once again written a book that took my breath away! Her writing style is captivating and her characters are crazy addictive! The chemistry between Amber and Van is insanely hot!
After reading the blurb, I really did not know what to expect from this story. I already knew Van from the previous book, but Amber was a total mystery. Holy Moly! Amber had me cheering for her from the very beginning! I immediately wanted to know everything about her. It was fascinating to read her every step. What was even more fascinating was how Van got under her skin. He did everything in his power to help her break free of all these issues that she had. At one point of the book my heart broke for both these characters. They have suffered so much. They both had demons that kept coming back to haunt them. Discovering what was hiding in their past was heartbreaking! I was cheering for their HEA with all my heart!! These characters felt so REAL!
Vanquish was everything I expected it to be! I had high expectations after reading Deliver and I could not wait to see what was going to happen in Vanquish. Pam Godwin exceeded all of my expectations! I seriously can't wait to read her other books!

A cold smile tipped his lips as he chuckled. Then his expression sobered. “Walk to the kitchen.” F*cking psychopath. He stood right in the doorway, taking up the whole damned hall. At over six feet tall with a muscled body cut from stone, he could squash her without breaking a sweat. She didn't want to go near him. He was terrifying. But being forced outside was worse. She straightened her back and headed toward him.
As she slid by, his arm caught her waist and yanked her back against his chest. She slapped at his hand, bucking against him, and his arm clenched tighter. His erection jabbed against her backside, his breath hot at her ear. “Fighting and squirming only turns me on. Don't stop.” She immediately stilled. God, he wasn't lying.
