Summary
As the owner of a string of successful nightclubs all over the world, Zerach can have any woman--except for his assistant Isadora O'Donnell. First off, Isadora isn't a one-night-stand kind of girl, and second, her dominating godparents don't approve of him. There's also the fact that he is an archangel with a mission to protect humans from demons, something Isadora can never find out about.
Isadora secretly longs for Zerach's attention but her scarred body and his playboy ways keep her from acting on her feelings. With her only family on the brink of bankruptcy, shes determined to help them, even if it means trying to forget Zerach and marrying the womanizing Jake, a man she'll never love.
Zerach tries to keep Isadora at arm's length, but when a demon starts stalking her, Zerach will stop at nothing to protect the woman he loves. But protecting her could cost him his wings.
The Way I See It
Trusting an Angel was everything a girl who loves angels could ask for. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about 7 angelic brothers…This series promises to be on my auto buy list. Was it perfect…Sadly no but what first book in a series ever is?..One thing I really enjoyed was the brothers weren’t expected to be saintly but something pretty sad happens I’m curious to see if this is going to be the general outcome of every book or if its going to be something else. Zerach and Isadora are magnetic I fell in love with the both of them straight away. Their struggle of forbidden love and secrets and the intimacy they shared was very realistic I felt every emotion they felt. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.
T-ruth, Zerach knows his own heart better than anyone yet those around him are too blind to see its purity.
R-eunion, Dora is once again in the arms of her childhood friend Jake.
U-nion, Jake is not embarrassed when he say he wants Dora as a permanent fixture in his life.
S-urprised, Dora’s godparents have always been there for her maybe she needs to head their advice.
T-houghts, nothing can discount the fact that Dora is very much attracted to Zerach unfortunately the state of things is keeping them apart.
I-nfatuation, Jake will stop at nothing to have Dora’s favor even if it comes to physical harm.
N-asty, the night brings dark and terrible things it is Zerach’s job to keep the demons at bay.
G-abriel, a brother has been found but the situation remains the same.
A-ngry, Zerach doesn’t understand why his heart cries out to Dora but he will do what it takes to protect her.
N-emesis, a danger absent many years has come back the time for action is upon everyone.
A-ligned, Jake and Dora’s godparents are in way over their heads it seems everyone has trusted the wrong people.
N-erves, Dora has never felt this way before the time for complete trust is upon her.
G-ift, Zerach receives the greatest love and he is determined to reciprocate in kind.
E-xplosion, things have come to a final battle lines have been drawn and all of the pawns are at bay.
L-ove, more precious and more powerful than anything known to man Zerach will make a great sacrifice in the name of his heart.
GAH!! I was hoping something different would happen but nope…it.didn’t. Hey to each their own. I fell in love with Zerach and Dora straight away so I wanted their happiness. Even though I would have made their outcome a bit different I still believe everything is as it should be. As I mentioned earlier there are 7 brothers though on 6 are active because Gabriel has been silent for a millennia. Well we got to know Rafe the most and I’m hoping the next book is about him. I really enjoyed this book and for the price its very much worth the read. I wish it had been longer, but isn’t that always the case with good books? Either way I’m looking forward to whats next!

About the Author
Ms. Missy Jane is the alter ego of a Texas mother of four who has been married to the same wonderful man for over sixteen years.
A few years ago Missy finished reading a book by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory, titled The Outstretched Shadow, and thought “Now, what if…” and a monster was created.
Missy now spends most of her time lost in worlds of her own making alternately loving and hating such creatures as vampires, shape-shifters and gargoyles (to name a few).
When not writing, she spends her time reading, taking photos of her four beautiful daughters and training her husband to believe she’s always right.
I'm a sucker for forbidden romances, and this one sounds soooo up my alley. Great review!
