Summary
“. . . the Sons would never just let him go—alive.”
Seth O’Keefe has broken the laws of his god. He never thought he would sacrifice his own future to protect a Daughter of Isis. But when the Sons of Set discovered Natti is the Secret Keeper, he had no choice. Now, Seth and Natti are on the run from his father, who wants nothing more than to see Seth dead. With no allies, Seth turns to the Daughters of Isis for help, hoping they would protect Natti. But when they meet the Daughters, he discovers a secret that puts both their lives in more danger. Low on options, Seth sees only one possibility for survival. He must help Natti solve an ancient puzzle and find the secret name of Ra.
Natara “Natti” Stone is having a hard time swallowing the truth. She can’t believe what she has learned in the past twenty-four hours: Seth is a Son of Set blessed with charm; she is a Daughter of Isis blessed with a sliver of Ma ‘at; the locket her grandmother gave her holds an ancient Egyptian secret linking to Osiris and Isis. That along with being tortured and brutalized by the Sons of Set, she can hardly hold herself together. Thank God for Seth’s touch! That warm, tingling sensation that drowns it all out. Yet her heart struggles to stay focused. She must quickly embrace her destiny before the secret name of Ra falls into the wrong hands.

The Way I See It
The Son of Set starts off with a lot of action and continues its pace till the SHOWDOWN I was once again immersed into this wonderful world of Egyptian Mythology and Lore. This was a super page turner because of all of the action. We learn much more about Netti and Seth during their quest towards freedom. Netti and Seth have a long way to go as far as maturity but I hope they find their true destinies.
O-pportunity, Sean has called upon the council he will set a plan in motion that has been years in the making.
N-evada, a decoy to cover their tracks Seth only knows he must act quickly to escape is father Sean.
Secrets, Seth is surrounded by uncertainty, Netti doesn’t know whats going on but her heart calls to Seth’s she doesn’t understand her powers but she knows he plays a big role in her future.
O-pen, Seth and Netti share a connection that puts the both of them in serious danger. Netti cannot resist and Seth’s desire is proving to be too strong. Pretty soon nothing will remain.
F-uture, Netti knows where the secret lies its time to go in search of it. The safety that was offered to Netti has been compromised escaping proves to be difficult but they must pursue what her heart is telling her.
S-ean, killing and causing chaos has been a way of life for him he must not lose track of finding Netti and Seth.
E-ncased, finding the gods has been difficult Netti is presented with a test to prove her worth. Isis has foreseen she is the one alongside Seth their destinies are intertwined they must see this through.
T-est, Netti has what she needs and will face pure evil with the help of the gods she will find a way to see to it that Set will be defeated once and for all.
OMGee!! That ending! okay so it was and it wasn’t kind of cliffy. Netti doesn’t know who she can trust but she does know she has a strong battle ahead of her. Seth’s father is determined to bring his enemies down. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with Netti and Seth. Netti is coming into her powers and I hope these two will find their way towards happiness. I hope to hear more about the Daughters of Isis. This was a fast paced intriguing read that kept me turning the pages. I know there are many more secrets to discover and I cant wait to see what they are!
