SYNOPSIS:
Olivia
He tilts my chin up so my eyes meet his, his thumb brushing lightly across my lips. I close my eyes. I know Z is trouble. I know that being with him is going to get me into trouble. I don’t care.
At least at this moment, I don’t care.
Tossed from foster home to foster home, Olivia’s seen a lot in her sixteen years. She’s hardened, sure, though mostly just wants to fly under the radar until graduation. But her natural ability with computers catches the eye of Z, a mysterious guy at her new school. Soon, Z has brought Liv into his team of hacker elite—break into a few bank accounts, and voila, he drives a motorcycle. Follow his lead, and Olivia might even be able to escape from her oppressive foster parents. As Olivia and Z grow closer, though, so does the watchful eye of Bill Sykes, Z’s boss. And he’s got bigger plans for Liv…
Z
I can picture Liv’s face: wide-eyed, trusting. Her smooth lips that taste like strawberry Fanta.
It was just a kiss. That’s all. She’s just like any other girl.
Except that she’s not.
Thanks to Z, Olivia’s about to get twisted.

My Review:
Olivia Twisted by Vivi Barnes was AWESOME!!! It's been a while since I read a YA book, but I'm glad I got the chance to review this one :) It did take me a bit of time to get comfortable with the genre, but once Olivia and Z met I fell in my usual comfort zone. This story had great characters that pulled you in.
Olivia has seen her share of foster homes. She thought her last one was the one she could actually call a home. When her foster parents Bernadette and Marc move away, Olivia is saddened by how Bernadette fails to keep her promise to help her. She ends up at Denise and Derrick Carter's house and tries to live her life day by day and get used to this new routine. New home means new school. On her first day she meets Sam who send out a friendly vibes and Z, the enigmatic boy with the cocky attitude. As the days go by Olivia gets involved in Sam and Z's world. A world where hacking computers and bank accounts is normal. What they do is no secret to Olivia, she knows a thing or two about hacking into a system. The kids over at Monroe Street are just like her. Once she steps into their world she has to make a decision. Her feelings for Z are making it hard for her to decide if this is the kind of life she wants.
Awww!! Olivia and Z are sooooo cute together!!! I have to admit that both of them caught my attention from the very beginning. Olivia and Z are very easy to relate to. It's important for me to feel that connection to the main characters. Even if I loved both characters, Z absolutely stole my heart in this story. OMG! The way he fell for Olivia ... Eeeep!!! My heart was all happy about the way he felt about her. Olivia found a way to crack Z's hard shell, which is something no one has ever achieved.
This story kept me turning the pages and had a storyline that was very interesting. Olivia goes through a lot and she is faced with many difficult situations. I found Oliva and Z very mature for their age. They both see life in a different way, but then again they are so alike.
My Review:
