It’s Wait for You as you’ve never seen it. Trust in Me lets you in on Cam’s side of the #1 New York Times Bestselling story.
Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life – literally – he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam’s not ready to give up. He can’t get the feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.
Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. Will persistence (and some delicious homemade cookies) help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery's life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?

Wait For You Series
My Thoughts
Trust in Me, by J. Lynn, was a great novella! I loved this version of the story, because it was told from Cam's point of view, and he was my absolute favorite character in Wait for You. It was a treat being inside of Cam's head. I thought I loved him in Wait for You, but I loved him even more in Trust in Me. Cam used to be a talented Soccer player who had dreams of one day playing professionally. However, he was forced to quit the team and attend anger management classes as a consequence to a violent incident with his sister's abusive boyfriend.
When both Avery and Cam were running late for their Astronomy class on the first day of school, they literally bumped into each other. There is something about Avery that attracts Cam. For one thing, she's gorgeous and doesn't even realize it. On top of that, she's intelligent, a little awkward, down to earth, and the first girl who doesn't fall all over him. Cam can tell that Avery has dark secrets that she's hiding, based off of how awkward she gets in certain situations. He can also tell that she's innocent and unique compared to any of the girls that he's ever met. I enjoyed hearing Cams' observations and thoughts on Avery's awkwardness and actions.
I really enjoyed the flirty and witty banter between Cam and Avery. It was fun and made me smile all throughout the book. Getting the story from Cam's point of view was amazing. I could tell how much he adored Avery, the protectiveness he felt towards her, and that he really was serious about her. In the first book, Wait for You, I wondered if he really jumped from woman to woman in college like Avery thought, but I was able to see that really was not the case. Avery was always on Cam's mind. Whether he was with friends, family, or alone, all he could think of was her. I thought that was really romantic. I enjoyed seeing Avery through Cam's eyes when they were intimate as well. It came across that the connection he felt towards her was more than physical. It was emotional, he really treasured her, and loved her unconditionally for who she was.
As I got to know Cam, I also got to know his family and friends on a deeper level. In Wait for You, since the story was told from Avery's point of view, we got more of her family background, and learned more about her friendships. So it was nice to learn more about Cam's in, Trust in Me. Cam was very close to his mother, father, and sister Teresa. I loved reading about the interactions between Cam and his family. I also enjoyed getting to know more about his best friends Ollie and Jace. The interactions and conversations between the guys were fun and hilarious. By the end of the story, we get a good lead in to Cam's sister, Teresa and his best friend, Jace's story, Be With Me! I am so excited for their story, because the attraction and strong magnetic pull these two have towards one another was evident in Trust in Me. Ms. Lynn, (Armentrout) is the queen of "Swoon," and trust me when I say, you will be swooning and fanning yourself when you read, Trust in Me!
My Rating:
I give Trust in Me, by J. Lynn, 4.5 Delicious, Flirtatious, Loyal, and Loving Stars! This was a great novella, that enhanced Wait for You. If you are a big fan of J. Lynn's stories, you will love this one too. I highly reccommend the, Wait for You series! If you are in the mood for a fun, flirty, sexy, and at times emotional read, get this series!

My Favorite Quotes:
"Avery was such a mystery to me; a paradox of innocence and allure--a mystery I was determined to solve." (eARC, Loc. 1621)
~Cam
"The realization shook me to the core. I stared into those warm, whisky-colored eyes and I wanted to see my future there--our future there. Never in my life had I ever wanted to see that when I stared into a chick's eyes, but with Avery Morgansten, I wanted nothing more." (eARC, Loc. 4068)
~Cam
"The next words hurt. 'How can there be any future for us if you can't really trust that how I feel about you is strong enough, then we have nothing. This is the sh*t that ends relationships. Not the past, Avery, but the present." (eARC, Loc. 4143)
~Cam
