New Adult/Contemporary Romance - recommended for ages 17 and up.
With one look, I’m his . . .
With one touch, he’s mine . . .
With one kiss, it changes everything between us . . .
I’ve been famous since I can remember. Singing, acting, dancing—I’ve done it all. The tabloids cover my every move, but I don’t want that anymore. I want to be normal, whatever that is.
When I leave Hollywood for college in Vermont, I’m on my own for the first time in my life. This is my chance to figure out who I am and what I want in life.
But it’s a lot harder than I expected. I can’t escape my image. Classes are difficult, and I’m struggling. And then there’s Caleb Fox.
Sexy, intriguing Caleb Fox.
Caleb is the one man who doesn’t want to use me. He breaks down my walls. He challenges me. He wants me. And I just don’t know if I can give him the same—or if he’ll stick around when he finds out my shameful secret that the tabloids haven’t managed to uncover.
Dating him is risky enough, but loving him could break me.
The Way I See It
Stay With Me was a sweet endearing read. I enjoyed it every step of the way. Talk about insta-love with Hailey. This wasn’t an "earth shattering change your views on life sort of book" but it was fun. Oh, and there is all the steam yowza! Can Ms. Patrick write a steamy scene?!? This was light and fluffy fun, fun, fun, fun, fun.
S-trength, Hailey will need all that she has to walk away from everything she’s ever known.
T-rust, everyone has always wanted something from Hailey. She refuses to open up again and become a victim.
A-lone, these two will find each other not knowing how much they needed one and other.
Y-oung, nothing is certain but Hailey knows she has time to figure out who she truly is.
W-ork, always the star-life becomes difficult when things don’t come easily. Hailey will have to put in extra hours but she is determined to succeed.
I-ndependent, Caleb’s sister is strong and smart. Together they will show Hailey it's okay to open up and stop being alone.
T-ruth, the bomb drops. This will be the final betrayal. Caleb and Hailey’s relationship will be questioned and everyone's secrets will be out.
H-ealing, with her new foundation Hailey will find herself. Surrounded by loved ones she may begin to let go and accept who she is.
M-usic, her heart open and raw she will bare her soul to Caleb. His strength will empower her.
E-verlasting, her past is in the past. The pain will always remain and she will always wonder why her mother did certain things. Hailey knows who she is and what makes her happy. Where tomorrow will take her no one knows, but she’s looking forward to whats to come.
AND... So am I! So I have to mention how honest and relatable all of the characters felt to me! Loved it, loved them and I can’t wait to continue with this series.
My Fav’s
Caleb
Talk about an awesome, honest and generally great guy. I was so glad he found Hailey and pursued her. Caleb found his way into her heart. He was EXACTLY what she needed. Unfaltering and strong, he was the foundation that kept her together during the roughest time in Hailey’s life.
Hailey
Her inner monologue was full of doubt but she was so relatable. If I were in Hailey’s shoes I would have very similar concerns even though all Hailey has ever known is fame it hasn’t affected her amazing personality.
My Wish
Nick goes for it!! And OMG, what if Alex comes back clean and wants to fight for Hailey?.. Eeep talk about the drama! Lol ;)
My Rating
4.0 Leather Jacket, College Student, Art Class, Car Accident, Solid Friends, Indiana Jones, Betty Boop, Rain Storm, Talk Show, Guitar Serenade Love filled stars!!! For a fun and steamy read I highly recommend Stay With Me
